BetaWorld 2.0 is continuation for BetaWorld 1.4 server. Server in its current form was launched in 20.4.2020. Betaworld is most advanced beta server in the world. It has over 100 new/customized plugins made by its creator and main developer Julius. Betaworld is also running BetaWorldYdinCB1060 server software witch is based to YdinBukkit you can download it for your server from here. Please checkout features page that can be found from left to see what features betaworld has to offer for you.
We also have custom launcher that is made to be as simple as possible, Click BetaLauncher button on left to download it.
We have discord server (link on left) but we also have mumble server for vc at betaworld.xyz (default port 64738). We also have XMPP MultiUserChat on [email protected] (See Contactinfo page for more information.)

BetaWorld 2.0 offers many different game modes.

Latest version 1.1.0, EXE for windows and JARs for other os:

- Launcher comes with libraries and game files and assets. no internet required!
- Game is installed to %appdata%/.betaworld -folder, does not overwrite vanilla.
- Made with Java 1.5 so this should work even on very old systems.
- Note that optifine patch version requires java 1.8.- You can connect directly to BetaWorld server with 1 click.
- Launcher opens game in same window as launcher.
- No mojang (microsoft) or any spying at all.
- You can use any username you want.
Telegram
Please note that BW2 does not have official telegram server. Every Telegram server for BW2 is hosted by 3th party. This means that in these channels there might not be server staff. If you need help from staff please use different communication platform.
Warning! Since 30.9.2024 telegram has started to send user data to law enforcement. Previously, Telegram would only share users data in cases of terrorism.
Remember to follow rules of the telegram server you choose to join!
Discord
Discord server seems to be most popular type of communication for users. Because of this BW2 offers discord server that has server moderators and news channel. Invite link for BetaWorld 2.0 discord server can be fround from here: DiscordInvite Discord server has been created by Beezle on 2020. There is also alternative discord server used for BetaWorld 1.3 and BetaWorld 1.4: DiscordInvite This alternative server was most used on 2023 as an community run discord server but is now left to less usage. But if you don't mind to be in many servers you might want to join both of them. BW2 discord server is also ripcord compatible but development of ripcord client has ended on 2021.
